Impact of accomplishment : Client is provided a nutritious meal and a well being check with smiles. This assures that the seniors are able to remain in the home with a more comfortable and rewarding quality of life. Personal relationships and bonds are made through this rewarding opportunity.
You will deliver hot lunches to homebound elderly within a specific geographic area close to your home. As you deliver the meals you will check to see if the client is okay and report back any unusual circumstances. In this way, the volunteer serves as a link between the COA and the elderly client.
1 shift available:
- This may extend beyond noon: 10:30 to 11:45 EST
