GENTIVA HOSPICE VETERAN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED, VETERANS SUPPORTING VETERANS

Are you a veteran looking to make a difference in the lives of your fellow veterans? Join us as a volunteer to help others. We believe no one understands the journey better then those who have walked it themselves.

ROLE: Provide respite visits (no hands on care required!) to family of veteran. Provide companionship and emotional support to hospice patient while family runs an errand, schedules an appointment, or takes a brief break.

Provide companionship and socialization visits to our veterans living in long term care facilities.

Assist in organizing events that foster community among veterans.

Participate in our annual memorial service, held in October.

LOCATION: ONSLOW AND CARTERET COUNTY.

TIME COMMITMENT: FLEXIBLE! Any time donated is appreciated. We are accomodating to your schedule!
