Advocate for a Child in Foster Care
Descripción
Descripción
CASA First is the only organization working with every child in foster care in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba and Los Alamos Counties. Families we work with tell us that our volunteers have helped change their lives. The next training for new Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers begins in September. The training equips new volunteers with the skills to advocate for a child in foster care both in and out of the courtroom, building relationships with children, caregivers, lawyers, social workers, service providers, and more. We welcome any adult (over 21) with a passion for serving the Northern NM community and building compassionate & dedicated relationships with youth to consider volunteering.
Dates for volunteer training are: September 17th, 24th, and October 1st, 8th
