Description
Omni Med is seeking committed volunteers to support community health programs in rural Uganda. Volunteers assist with health education, water and sanitation outreach, malaria prevention, hypertension screening, mental health activities, and school health initiatives. Responsibilities may include helping train Village Health Teams, leading community lessons, participating in home visits, supporting data collection, and collaborating with local partners.

Qualifications
Ideal volunteers are flexible, culturally respectful, eager to learn, and comfortable working in rural settings. Backgrounds in public health, global health, medicine, nursing, social sciences, or related fields are welcome, but not required.
Additional Details
Programs run year-round with stays from 1–8 weeks or longer. Training, orientation, and ongoing support are provided. This is an immersive, community-based experience designed for students, health practitioners, and those passionate about global health and service.
