Volunteer Opportunity: Graphic Designer & / or Social Media Specialist (Remote)

KİMCANKO is a grassroots animal welfare NGO based in Türkiye, focused on humane stray animal population management, rehabilitation, rescue, and community-based care. Our core work includes Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR), post-operative recovery, rehabilitation, and adoption, with a strong emphasis on ethical, non-lethal, sustainable welfare models.

We are currently seeking remote volunteer support in the areas of graphic design and social media to help strengthen our public communication, outreach, and awareness efforts.

Roles We’re Looking For

🎨 Volunteer Graphic Designer

Support areas may include:

• Posters & flyers (print and digital)
• Social media visuals
• Campaign materials
• Simple branding assets
• Awareness materials
• Event and fundraising visuals
• Templates for ongoing use

📱 Volunteer Social Media Specialist

Support areas may include:

• Content planning
• Post structuring
• Caption writing
• Campaign storytelling
• Visual-text coordination
• Awareness campaign design
• Community engagement strategies
• Platform optimisation (Instagram, etc.)

Ideal Profile

• Experience in graphic design and/or social media
• Interest in animal welfare, NGOs, or social impact
• Ability to work remotely
• Self-organised and reliable
• Bilingual (Turkish–English) is a plus
• Sensitivity to ethical, non-exploitative NGO communication
