Job Purpose:
To assist with various fundraisers and assist with the development, planning, and execution of each fundraiser.
Responsibilities:
The Fundraiser Coordinator performs a wide range of duties, including some or all of the following:
- Works closely with other board members for assistance in their specific areas (secretary adding information to calendars, lead volunteer for volunteers and advertising flyers/social media, VP adding to bulletin board, and any other help needed).
- Calling corporations/companies for sponsorship donations. Main contact for vendors and outside parties.
- Organizes scheduled fundraisers/events/activities.
- Appoints volunteers to help set up and tear down fundraiser events.
- Types, utilizing a computer keyboard and word processing software, and edits a variety of documents, creates spreadsheets, and word documents for multiple files.
- Assisting with various fundraising projects.
- Printing, collecting, and filing documents about each fundraiser.
- Stuffing and addressing envelopes.
- Assisting with the fundraiser's clerical side of events.
