About the Organization

Who we are

CREATS is a dynamic and community-driven organization located in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Founded in 2015, CREATS emerged from the collective efforts of a diverse group of passionate individuals, including young professionals, men, women, and vulnerable members of society, united by a common goal: to foster social change and unlock the economic potential of the community.

Mission:

At the heart of CREATS is a steadfast mission to transform communities from merely surviving to thriving. Through participatory development approaches and strategic linkages to critical resources, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of the people we serve.

What we do

CREATS is dedicated to dismantling obstacles that impede food production and agricultural productivity. We achieve this by facilitating access to critical agricultural inputs such as quality seeds, organic fertilizer, and extension services. Recognizing the interconnections of environmental health and agricultural sustainability, CREATS champions Climate-Smart Agricultural activities to enhance resiliency in food production. Furthermore, we actively support women and youth entrepreneurs with resources to actively engage in community development.
