Uplift Hospice warmly welcomes older adult volunteers who want to serve their community in a meaningful, flexible way. Many of our senior volunteers tell us this role has become one of the most fulfilling chapters of their lives. You'll sit with patients, share stories, offer a steady hand, and remind someone that they are not facing this journey alone.

Why this role fits: No physical demands. Hours are fully flexible around your schedule. We provide all training and ongoing support. Many roles can be filled with just a few hours a week. Retired healthcare workers, teachers, counselors, and faith leaders bring incredible value — but no professional background is required.
