Licensed Hair and Nail Care Professionals Needed in Austin, TX!

Do you have a passion for helping others and making a difference in your community? Bristol Hospice Austin are seeking compassionate, licensed hair stylists, barbers, cosmetologist, and nail technicians to volunteer with our hospice volunteer program.

Many of our patients are unable to visit salons and greatly benefit from simple grooming services that help them maintain their dignity, confidence, and sense of well-being. By sharing your professional skills, you can provide comfort and brighten someone's day during an important stage of life.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Provide basic haircuts, hairstyling, beard trimming, or nail care services to hospice patients
• Offer companionship and compassionate support during visits
• Follow hospice guidelines and infection control practices

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current professional license or certification in cosmetology, barbing, or nail technology
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful demeanor
• Willingness to complete hospice volunteer onboarding and training requirements initially and annually, which includes background checks and TB testing

Time Commitment: Volunteer visits are flexible and can be arranged based on your availability and our patient needs
