Activities
Summer brings blooms and buzzing pollinators! July volunteer days focus on maintaining habitat along the Green River that supports bees, butterflies, and birds. It’s a relaxed, feel-good way to spend a summer morning while helping the ecosystem stay strong.
We will be removing blackberry and ivy.
All ages OK
What to Bring
Dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and cover your legs and arms; blackberries can be very scratchy. Bring a full water bottle and, if you have them, tough gardening gloves.
Where to Meet
We will meet in Bicentennial Park and walk to the site, which is located just south of the park, under the bridge, follow the Green River Trail South.
