Status: Volunteer

Role Summary: The Fundraising Chair leads the Board’s efforts to diversify and expand the organization’s revenue streams. This role is critical in moving YourPassion1st toward financial sustainability by fostering a culture of philanthropy and securing individual, corporate, and event-based support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and lead an annual fundraising plan that aligns with program expansion goals.
• Donor Relations: Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individual donors and corporate sponsors.
• Event Leadership: Oversee fundraising committees for annual events, community showcases, and online campaigns.
• Board Engagement: Encourage 100% board giving and support other board members in leveraging their networks for the organization.
• Program Development: Help establish a recurring monthly donor program and explore corporate matching gift opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in sales, business development, marketing, or non-profit fundraising.
• Exceptional networking skills and comfort in "making the ask."
• High degree of organization and a goal-oriented approach to project management.
