    Volunteer at Public InvCon 2026: Humanitarian Engineering & Open Source Hardware

    Public InvCon 2026 is a premier gathering of inventors, technologists, and humanitarian engineers. This event showcases Open Source Hardware projects that solve real-world problems. You’ll have the chance to hear from keynote speakers from NASA, KidsOR, and Public Invention, while supporting a community dedicated to making innovation accessible to all.

    About This Event Experience Opportunity

    Are you passionate about technology for good? Public Invention is looking for energetic volunteers to help us host Public InvCon 2026 at the Austin Central Library!

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for support in the following areas:

    1. Front Desk / Registration: Be the first friendly face attendees see! Help with check-ins at the registration.
    2. Floor Support: Assist Key speakers and inventors with setup, manage the flow of the demo hall, and ensure a smooth experience for guests.
    3. Video / Photo: Help us capture the magic! If you have a knack for digital storytelling, help us document the talks and hardware demos.
