Volunteer at Barracks Gift Shop/visitors stop at Sonoma State Historic Park

Assist gift shop manager as needed; located in the historic Barracks on the Sonoma Square. Interact with state park visitors to provide information as requested. (The Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau is located in the historic Toscano Hotel next to the Barracks, so visitors can also be referred here.) Volunteer shift about 4 hours; days to be determined with gift shop manager.

Learn about the history of Sonoma yourself, as you learn to answer visitor's questions. (State Park staff is located across the street in the Mission if visitors have additional questions.) Sell available merchandise in the gift shop to let visitors take home a personal memento. Computer skills are a plus but not required. (Money raised in the gift shop support special events at the park all year round.)
