Be the Heart Behind Hospice- Be a Heartland Hospice Volunteer!

A small act of kindness can create a ripple effect that reaches further than you know!

Heartland Hospice of Circleville is currently seeking kind, compassionate individuals to join our team as Friendly Volunteers!

In this role, you'll be matched with one of our amazing patients to provide companionship wherever they call home such as in home or in a care facility. Your time and presences can truly make a lasting impact on patients, their families, and the community we serve!

As a Friendly Volunteer, the opportunities are truly endless, but you might:

• Chat about everyday life; family, the weather, holidays, and more
• Watch favorite TV shows or movies together
• Read books, newspaper, or magazines
• Listen to music
• Work on simple crafts or puzzles
• Play games
• And enjoy many other meaningful moments

We're happy to work around your schedule! Whether you're available once a week, a couple times a week, or something in between, we'll find a plan that works for you.

No experience is required- We will provide all trainings at no cost!

To get started, we do require a background check, drug screening, fingerprinting, and a TB test. All costs are covered, and we'll guide you through each step of the process.
