Overview:
The Children’s Table is a nonprofit organization serving rural families across North Central Florida. We provide nutritious food through weekly and mobile food distributions, and we also operate a 5-acre community teaching garden where Master Gardeners from the University of Florida Agriculture Extension Office teach families how to grow their own vegetables. Our goal is simple: no one goes hungry.

Your time helps feed hundreds of families each week and teaches lasting skills for self-sufficiency. Together, we’re feeding families, teaching skills, and strengthening our community.
Finding The Children’s Table – Bronson Location

We’re located just west of downtown Bronson on West Thrasher Drive (State Road 24). Look for our large white building with The Children’s Table sign out front.
From Williston:
Take Highway 27/41 north toward Bronson. Turn left onto State Road 24 (West Thrasher Drive). We’re about a half-mile down on the right.
From Archer or Gainesville:
Head west on State Road 24 toward Bronson. Once you pass through the main intersection in town (at Highway 27/41), continue about half a mile—we’ll be on the left-hand side.
Parking:
Please park across the street in the open field or along the side lot if space allows. Volunteers can check in at the main office door near the front of the building.
Garden & Farm Location (for gardening volunteers):

From Bronson, take Highway 27/41 south toward Williston. Turn left on NE 10th Street (just before entering downtown Williston), then follow signs for The Children’s Table Farm. The gate and parking area will be clearly marked.
There are no special application requirements to volunteer—just show up ready to help! Volunteers should be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, depending on the day’s needs. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes for safety. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water, especially during warmer months. Whether you’re packing food, loading boxes, or working in the garden, your help makes a real difference.
