Drueding Center partners with families experiencing homelessness to build skills to heal from traumam restore hope, and end the cycle of homelessness through trauma informed and housing first approach. We accomplish this through four inter-related departments- residential/ transitional housing, community services, child care, and the Green Light Food pantry. The food pantry allows us to serve those in our community who suffer from food insecurity and promote healthy meal options through cooking demos, a community garden, and one of two Green Light Food Pantry's in the city. We are committed to providing fresh produce, whole grains, low sodium canned goods and lean proteins.
Please note that Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts are 2pm-3:30pm. They are prep days which include stocking shelves, bagging loose produce, and other tasks to prepare for distributions.
