Service to the Armed Forces: Reconnection Workshop Adult Modules Facilitator

This position supports the Regional Service to the Armed Forces department. Provide Reconnection Workshop modules to military, veterans and their families in various community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Willingness to support the Red Cross mission and the United States military
• Provide Reconnection Workshops for military members, veterans and their families
• Work under the supervision of Regional SAF Staff
• Perform duties within the scope of licensure, training instructions and supervision
• Stay up to date on mental health research and practices for military, veterans and their families
• Record volunteer hours per Red Cross policy

Qualifications:

• SAF eligible mental health professional, holding an active and independent license, with no restrictions or disciplinary actions or held a mental health license within the last 5 years that was in good standing upon retirement *Senior Program Manager can be consulted for applicants who retired more than 5 years ago
• Available to co-facilitate with new facilitators
• Personal or professional experience working with the military a plus
• Masters level or above mental health degree
• Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
