We are looking for compassionate volunteers with the hospice heart to help provide companionship for hospice patients!
Do you love to talk and make friends? Are you a compassionate listener? Or do you just have free time and are looking for a good place in the community to put it? Volunteering with AccentCare means you are giving back to an often forgotten demographic - those on the end-of-life journey apart of hospice. This can be a scary, and sometimes lonely experience. Our volunteers step in to provide a friendly ear to bend, and a compassionate presence to bring comfort and socialization.
AccentCare offers a long list of different roles that volunteers can take on, companionship is only one branch on our tree of care! Feel free to inquire about our other opportunities during our interview - your care and compassion will find a home on our team. With 500+ patients on our care (and more coming everyday!) there is at least one person that could use your unique presence.
