Descripción
Greenwich United Way's Reading Champions is focused on building the students’ early literacy skills. Volunteer commitment is 1 hour weekly at the same time for emerging readers.
Our team of 120+ trained volunteers tutor 400 children in all 11 Greenwich Public Elementary Schools and 5 After-School Programs. Volunteers receive all training and materials to support their students weekly from late fall/winter through May. They also receive full on-site orientation and continued guidance during their service.
