Policy Support for Community Health Clinic in Kenya

The Caitlin O'Hara Community Health Clinic opened in August, 2023 and since then we have seen over 5,000 patients. We provide outpatient services with a focus on maternal child health and mental health.

We are looking for a motivated professional with experience in policy writing in the healthcare space to support the clinic director to review and improve our current organizational policies. This opportunity will require 5-10 hours per week, starting immediately through till the end of April, 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Review current organizational policies against national and international guidelines to ensure they align.
• Format and proof-read current draft policies.
• Research and reference each policy to ensure it is up to date and supported by the most recent and robust evidence-base.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or other related degree.
• Strong English writing and comprehension skills.
• Experience with policy writing in the healthcare space.
