Overview:

The Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance (VPMMA) is a non-profit organization that provides mentoring, education, and networking opportunities for veterans seeking to transition into project management. We are seeking a Financial Director (Treasurer) who will be responsible for managing VPMMA's finances. The Financial Director will work closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors to ensure that VPMMA's financial resources are managed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Manage VPMMA's budget and financial resources
• Ensure that VPMMA's financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Attend and provide financial reports at Board meetings

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in financial management, accounting, or related field preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in supporting veterans and promoting project management as a career
• Commitment to VPMMA's mission and values
