Food Pantry Volunteer - Des Moines

IMPACT is looking for volunteers who are interested in supporting neighbors in their community at our Des Moines location. We are located in the Drake Neighborhood in Des Moines and have many different types of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers at our food pantry help families shopping in the food pantry, bagging groceries, welcoming guests, weighing and organizing donations, and keeping our pantry clean, organized and running smoothly, among many other opportunities. We also have opportunities at the front desk where volunteers can contribute to greeting families and individuals as they come in, scheduling appointments, and checking neighbors in to be seen by our Family Services Specialists.

Volunteer hours are between 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
