Greetings Potential Volunteer!

Are you interested in a challenging, satisfying, and transformative volunteer experience?

As a member of our Personal Touch Hospice Volunteer Program, you will have the unique opportunity to offer care and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families, to contribute to the quality of their lives, and to support patients and families in their bereavement process. It is our goal at Personal Touch Hospice to help patients and their families experience those final days with comfort, awareness, and dignity.

As a Hospice Volunteer there will be opportunities for tremendous joy and for personal bonds that will change us! In helping to provide compassionate rest-of-life care, we are given the opportunity to examine a new dimension of reality in dealing with our own lives and deaths. By working with the dying we learn how to live. As a Hospice Volunteer, you will receive extensive training that is designed to teach you the many different aspects of working with terminally ill patients and their families, both in the home and in the office.
