As a Wings Over Virginia Hospice volunteer, you may choose to serve in the following areas:

Direct Patient Care - Companionship, errands, light chores, reading, conversation.
Administrative Support - Office help, filing, bereavement mailings.
Bereavement Support - Help with follow-up calls or events for families.
Pet Therapy - Provide comfort with your certified pet.
Special Events & Outreach - Represent the hospice at community events.
Otherspecial services (ex. small home repairs, haircuts, etc.)

Note: All volunteers receive training before assignment.
