Thursday Coffee Talkers Needed! (Remote)

Help bring cheer and smiles to older Minnesotans with your friendly voice. Be a Thursday Morning Coffee Talker!

Coffee Talk is a drop-in chat line that connects socially isolated older adults with caring volunteers for friendly conversation.

With a welcoming voice and a listening ear, you can provide friendly conversation to older Minnesotans who are feeling isolated or lonely and looking for more social connection.

Coffee Talk is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to Noon, CST. We’re currently looking for extra support on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - Noon.

Volunteers must be 18+, complete a volunteer application, pass a background check, and go through the volunteer training. This is a virtual, remote volunteer opportunity with training and staff support provided.

• Currently, we ask that all volunteers live in Minnesota.
• University students needing volunteer hours for class are welcome to apply.
