Do you have a passion for teaching? Would you love an opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with your community? Applewood is looking for educators of all kinds to join our amazing team of volunteers and support our field trip opportunities for local schools!

Education Support

Assist with programs for youth and adult groups with hands-on activities that reinforce the enduring legacy of C.S. and Ruth Mott: their extraordinary commitment to civic participation.

Applewood volunteers are valued members of the Ruth Mott Foundation team. Through volunteering at Applewood, community members are given the opportunity to participate in their community and support the Foundation’s community engagement efforts. Please review our Education Support role description and fill out an application to join us if it sounds like a good fit for you! Our volunteer onboarding process includes a background check and an in person training day on April 18th. Our open season runs May through October and we rely on volunteer support throughout that time.
