1. Helping to teach any hobby to our BH clients in our residential programs. We want to help clients find fun ways to fill their time. Some ideas may include: painting, jewelry making, sewing, repairing clothes or small projects, needle punching, embroidery, cross stich, model building, gardening (empty garden beds and tools), playing an instrument (drums, ukulele, guitar, DJ’ing, rapping), dancing, leading a book club, Lego building, fixing/repairing electronics, candle/soap making, wood burning, small woodworking (e.g. shelves, bird houses), paper crafts like origami or cardboard crafting, painting rocks, etc.
2,. Beautification yard work at a new group home opening at the end of June/early July. Backyard has overgrown in a few areas and could really use some sprucing up. It could be as little or as big as someone wanted to do, as we do have some large bushes that need to be taken out, too. Any help will be appreciated!
