Grant Writer

We are looking for a Volunteer Grant Writer who can help us build capacity and secure sustainable funding for our expanding work. This role is ideal for someone who has secured grants for smaller or newer nonprofits and enjoys helping organizations strengthen their infrastructure and long term impact.

What You Will Do

• Research and identify grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs
• Write clear and compelling proposals for operating support, school based programs, and community events
• Maintain a simple grants calendar and help organize submission deadlines and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to gather program information, stories, and data needed for proposals

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated experience securing grants for nonprofits, especially those in early growth stages
• Strong writing and project management skills
• Understanding of where to find reliable funding opportunities and how to maintain a grants pipeline
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
• Commitment to community building, equity, and culturally responsible work
• Fully remote
