Volunteer Responsibilities
Daily care of birds and poultry, including feeding and providing fresh water
Assisting with cleaning coops, aviaries, and enclosures
Helping with enrichment activities and socialization
Monitoring animal behavior and reporting concerns to staff
Assisting during intake of new rescues
Helping during events, fundraisers, and community outreach
Supporting basic maintenance tasks around the sanctuary
Following all safety and biosecurity rules

Qualifications
Must be 16+ (or accompanied by a guardian if younger, depending on sanctuary policy)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to lift 20–40 lbs and perform physical tasks
Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn
Kind, patient, and respectful toward all animals
Experience with birds is helpful but not required—training is provided
