Are you seeking to make a difference in the lives of others?
The presence of a caring person matters to our hospice patients. By visiting on a weekly basis and just spending time, reading a book, listening to music, or participating in conversation or an activity, you make a difference. What the visit will look like will vary by patient and may vary by day. Regardless of how the visit is spent, your presence matters. Please reach out to learn more about volunteering.
As a companion volunteer for hospice you can enrich the lives of terminally ill patients in your community. In person visits take place at the patient’s residence and may involve playing games, reading a book, watching a movie, doing crafts, a walk or just enjoyable conversation. Hours are extremely flexible.
Become a friend/companion to a patient when they really need it most! If you have a little extra time and are looking for something rewarding to do, look no further. When assigned to a patient, we will review the details of the patient’s life before we introduce you to them and you will meet with them on a regular basis.
