Forterra Fridays: November 2026
Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Bundle up and dig in! We're closing out the season with a special volunteer day at Patterson Creek Preserve, a stunning forested property teeming with biodiversity and brimming with potential.
On Friday, November 20, from 1:00 to 3:30 PM, you're invited to help us remove invasive blackberries at Patterson Creek Preserve.
We'll begin with a short walk through the preserve and hear from restoration professionals about how thoughtful land stewardship creates real impact. Come ready to learn about ecological restoration, the role of social trails, and how Forterra is redefining land conservation in the Pacific Northwest.
What we are doing: We'll be removing invasive blackberries from social trail areas to expand habitat, improve soil stability, and increase the overall health of the preserve. Patterson Creek Preserve holds a special place in Forterra’s mission—this is your chance to be part of its story.
What to bring: Dress in warm, weather-appropriate layers and bring a reusable water bottle. Forterra will supply tools, gloves, drinks, and snacks.
Where to Park: Please park at the end of the road at Patterson Creek Preserve, following the Forterra signs. Get directions here (Google Maps link).
