    About Us:

The Lily Foundation is dedicated to driving community health and advocacy. We are launching our highly anticipated Baltimore Community Health Navigation Initiative, and we are looking for passionate, articulate volunteers to help us build the foundational relationships that will make our upcoming Baltimore Pilot Event a success. If you want to use your communication skills to make a tangible, local impact, we want you on our team!

    Position Description:

As an Outreach & Partnerships Volunteer, you will be the voice of our Baltimore Pilot. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our initiative and the local community by making warm, engaging phone calls to healthcare facilities and small businesses. Your goal will be to foster collaborative relationships, secure vital resources, and coordinate logistics needed to support the community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Medical Facility Engagement: Conduct warm outreach to local medical facilities, clinics, and hospitals to connect with provider patient advocates, introducing our initiative and exploring ways to collaborate.
    • Business Partnerships: Connect with local Baltimore businesses to pitch sponsorship opportunities and secure meaningful in-kind donations (goods, services, or refreshments) for the upcoming event.
    • Logistics & Venue Support: Research, coordinate, and reserve local community meeting spaces, libraries, or neighborhood venues to host our upcoming initiative sessions and focus groups.
    • Relationship Management: Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for The Lily Foundation, answering basic questions and tracking outreach details systematically.

Grow With Us – Skill Development & Leadership Opportunities:

If you are open to learning and ready to make an impact, we are fully invested in providing you with the opportunity to shine. We view our volunteers as core partners, and we are thrilled to help you:

    • Target Specific Non-Profit Sectors: Align your volunteering hours with specific areas of non-profit management you want to explore, from program development to community relations.
    • Build Hard & Soft Skills: Sharpen your professional communication, project coordination, corporate negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Receive Mentorship: Work directly with organizational leadership and gain inside perspective into building a community initiative from the ground up.
    • Channel Your Leadership: Take true ownership of outreach segments, leading coordination efforts and driving real-world outcomes for our Baltimore pilot.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a warm, professional, and persuasive phone presence.
    • Relationship Builder: Comfortable making cold or warm calls and building rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders, from corporate managers to healthcare advocates.
    • Organized & Self-Motivated: Able to manage a call list, track follow-ups, and work independently in a remote environment.
    • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with basic collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace) is a plus.
    • Passion for Growth & Mission: A willingness to learn, lead, and contribute to community health and advocacy.

    Time Commitment:

    • Hours: Low Commitment, Big Impact!** No more than 3 hours per week. Calls can be easily integrated into your schedule during standard business hours.
    • Duration: Short-term project leading up to our pilot event on July 25, 2026.

    What’s In It For You?

    • Gain hands-on experience in non-profit fundraising, community organizing, and healthcare outreach.
    • Work closely with organizational leadership and a dedicated, passionate board of directors.
    • Make a measurable, direct impact on health navigation resources in the Baltimore community.
    • Flexible, fully remote hours that fit your schedule.
