Events Virtual Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic; self motivated individual who is seeking experience in the event industry and marketing industry to join our virtual internship team and support and assist us with the planning and execution day to day activities.

We are seeking multiple Communications and Event Management interns to work remotely. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience that goes beyond administrative tasks. The internship program will focus on planning events, marketing, media relations and other long-term projects.

Interested candidate will be required to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week (flexible schedule).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the planning of virtual events and programs.
• Assist with marketing and promoting events and programs.
• Maintain and create contact lists.
• Provide internet research support for special projects.
• Assist with publicity and social media campaigns.
• Assist with management of social media outlets.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

• Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and Internet research
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Experience with managing/coordinating projects is a plus
