Board Member

MAC Angels Foundation is looking for board members to expand its outreach to the ALS community.

Board members with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to express interest:

• Strategic planning: assisting in developing and executing the organization's long-term strategic plan, including setting goals and objectives
• Financial oversight: reviewing financial statements, approving budgets, and ensuring responsible financial management
• Mission alignment: upholding the organization's mission and ensuring that all activities align with its stated purpose
• Committee work: actively contributing to the work of assigned committees, such as fundraising or program development
• Fundraising support: identifying potential donors and participating in fundraising initiatives
• Community engagement: representing the organization at community events and advocating for its services
• Board meeting attendance: regularly attending board meetings and staying informed about organizational developments
• Compliance assurance: ensuring the organization operates within legal and ethical guidelines
• Networking ability: capacity to leverage personal connections to benefit the organization
