Operations & Admin Volunteer

The Alexander Review is an emerging literary review dedicated to showcasing diverse voices, creative perspectives, and thoughtful discourse. We’re a volunteer-driven team working remotely across different time zones, collaborating to publish new issues and expand our reach.

Role Overview

The Operations & Admin Volunteer will play a key role in keeping our internal systems organized and efficient. You’ll support leadership and team members by maintaining smooth communication channels and ensuring resources are accessible and clear. This is a behind-the-scenes role that makes our editorial and marketing work possible.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Google Slides decks for upcoming issues, including priorities, timelines, and action steps.
• Organize and update Slack channels (pin key resources, archive outdated channels, ensure clarity in project spaces).
• Share finalized materials (slides, notes, templates) with the broader volunteer team for alignment.
• Assist with basic workflow documentation (e.g., templates for issue planning, onboarding guides).
• Support cross-team communication between editorial, marketing, and leadership.
