About Us:
The Good Soil Project is a Christian nonprofit farm dedicated to empowering youth coming out of juvenile detention by providing meaningful employment, discipleship, mentorship, and hands-on agricultural training. Our mission is to cultivate purpose, restore hope, and build brighter futures through faith, farming, and community.
Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and mission-driven individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will help guide the strategic vision of The Good Soil Project, support its growth, and ensure we are fulfilling our mission with integrity and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person)
- Provide oversight and input on policies, strategy, and financial health
- Actively support fundraising efforts and community engagement
- Advocate for our mission and represent The Good Soil Project in your network
- Assist in securing partnerships, donations, and resources
