Overview
Spend an afternoon helping kids and families experience fishing for the first time.
At our Youth Fishing League event during Anacostia Riverfest, you might be helping a child cast their first line or walking a family through how everything works. For many of the families who attend, it’s their first time holding a rod.
Volunteers are what make that experience feel welcoming, organized, and fun from start to finish.
