    Descripción

    We are looking for a passionate Volunteer Board Grant Writer to secure the vital funding needed to fuel our life-changing programs. In this dual role as a board member and grant writer, you will identify funding opportunities, craft compelling grant proposals, and articulate the story of The TheoRose Center to foundations and corporate donors. This is a fully remote position requiring a maximum commitment of 10 hours per month.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prospect Research: Identify and vet grant opportunities from government, corporate, and private foundations.
    • Proposal Development: Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of intent (LOIs), and progress reports.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Treasurer and board to gather financial data and program metrics for applications.
    • Strategy: Help develop a long-term grant calendar to ensure a steady pipeline of funding.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Experience: Prior experience in grant writing, technical writing, or professional fundraising.
    • Skills: Exceptional written communication, storytelling, and research skills.
    • Commitment: Ability to manage tight deadlines and dedicate up to 10 hours maximum per month.

Through life-skills training and empowerment programs, we equip our participants with the tools they need to successfully transition into the mainstream of society and achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
