Crafters & Artisans

Known as a Comfort Artist Volunteer, you will create comfort items to patients and/or family members through your ability to sew, knit or crochet, including:

1. Hats & Afghans - Knit or crochet hats, lap robes, blankets and afghans at your home. Bring completed projects to the office where nurses, social workers and other staff will deliver them to the patient.
2. Memory Bears & Pillows - Create memory bears and pillows by sewing together clothing or special material pieces supplied by the patient or family. You will be provided with a pattern and supplies. Bring completed projects to the office where social workers and other staff will deliver the treasured keepsake to the family.

This opportunity allows you to volunteer your time without leaving your own home!
