Make a difference in your community by volunteering for hospice ! ORGANIZATION : GENTIVA HOSPICE

Are you interested in making in-persons visits ? Do you want to help those in your community who are at home or in a nursing homes ?

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and /or their families or in their personal homes in Worcester, Auburn Marlborough, Westborough etc

Volunteers are needed who:

• Play music for patients
• Read to patients and provide supportive presence
• Help patients facetime/video chat/connect with loved ones who are unable to visit them due to travel, health, etc.
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans on hospice
• Are you willing to listen and talk, play cards, or watch a favorite TV show

#: Volunteers do not perform any clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting, bathing , or transferring .

#: Volunteers schedule their own visits - day/time.

#: Volunteers receive training that fits into their busy schedule.
