Come help deliver boxes filled with essential items directly to residents at the John Calvin Manor Mobile Food Pantry with Phoenix Family!
It’s simple and meaningful: boxes arrive on a pallet, and volunteers use carts and elevators to deliver them door-to-door to residents.
This opportunity lasts just 1–2 hours, but the impact is immediate. You’ll experience the rewarding feeling of helping others as you bring groceries and necessities to seniors who may not have access to them otherwise and see the smiles your support creates.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Our senior communities tend to run "hot", so please dress in layers. You are welcome to park in one of the spots marked "Visitor". If those spots are full, please park at First Presbyterian Church (located at 1625 NW O'Brien Rd.). John Calvin Manor is a secured-access building, so please call Helen at 816.582.7022 when you arrive, and she will let you in. On the day of, please reach out to Helen, if you get lost or are running late.
