Learn to sail a tall ship at the South Street Seaport Museum!
The 1885 schooner Pioneer needs your help! We are looking for volunteer crew members to help sail Pioneer during weekdays, weeknights, and on the weekends beginning April 18th until mid October! Previous sailing experience is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.
Help us continue to share Pioneer's rich history with the public and engage citizens with New York Harbor!
Requirements: Must attend at least two training sails, which are held every Saturday morning from 0830-1200, and take a US Coast Guard mandated drug test.
Must be above the age of 16. All skill levels are welcome. Training is provided.
