LUNGevity Foundation is seeking photographers to volunteer their time & skills to photographer our Flags Over Washington event. We will be installing 60,000 flags at the National Mall on the lawn between 3rd & 4th Streets. This will take place on Saturday, November 1st from 9:00am-3:00pm. You may photograph the whole time or any shift that you are available.
Each flag represents two lives lost to lung cancer this year - a staggering 120,000 stories, families, and futures. Together, these flags create a powerful and unforgettable reminder of why action is urgent and why your support matters.
Alongside the meaningful work, enjoy live music, food trucks serving lunch, and snacks to keep the energy high. This is more than volunteering - it is a day of purpose, community, and hope.
Sign up today and leave your mark on history.
