About CIDO

The Comprehensive Infant Development Organization (CIDO) is a nonprofit organization based in Rwanda dedicated to promoting inclusive and holistic development for children under 18 years old. Our programs focus on health, nutrition, early childhood development, education, disability inclusion, Water & sanitation, Climate child resilience, sports & play , Youth and family empowerment, particularly for vulnerable children in rural communities.

As CIDO expands its programs and fundraising efforts, we are seeking a Graphic Design & Communication Volunteer to help create compelling visual and communication materials that support fundraising, partnerships, and awareness campaigns.

Role Overview

The Graphic Design & Communication Volunteer will design materials that tell CIDO’s story, highlight program impact, and engage donors. This role is crucial in helping CIDO attract individual donors, corporate support, and grant funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fundraising materials such as brochures, posters, email visuals, and social media graphics
• Create infographics and visual reports showcasing program results and impact
• Assist in designing donor proposals, presentations, and organizational profiles
• Support storytelling through visual content for campaigns and social media
• Maintain consistent branding across all communication and fundraising materials
• Collaborate with fundraising and outreach volunteers to create campaign visuals that inspire donations

Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar)
• Interest in nonprofit communication, fundraising, and social impact
• Creativity and ability to present information in visually compelling ways
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
