Help Pathways of Hope serve our clients. Pathways of Hope is a non-profit organization that helps provide and sustain housing for families and individuals in Orange County, CA.
Many of our clients have limited mobility and access to transportation for heavy items. They are experiencing financial strain, which results in them needing no-cost assistance with moving furniture. Volunteer Movers will be notified when a volunteer opportunity arises and are able to accept or deny each opportunity as they come up.
The number of moves you help with is completely up you. All assistance is appreciated.
If you have a large vehicle that you're willing to use to transport the items that would also be of great help.

Cómo participar como voluntario(a) en esta oportunidad
Volunteers need to complete the online individual volunteer application available on our website at www.pohoc.org/volunteer and our Volunteer Program Specialist will contact you. A standard volunteer waiver will need to be completed. No background check is required.
Volunteers should be able lift at least 50 lbs. for the duration of the assignment. Also, they should be capable of going up and down stairs while carrying heavy items with another volunteer.
Volunteers must wear secure, closed-toed shoes during the assignment.
If the volunteer has access to a large truck that would be helpful but is not required.
