Volunteer to Tutor High School Students in Oakland!

Our mission at College Track is to equip scholars confronting systemic barriers to earn a bachelor’s degree in pursuit of a life of opportunity, choice, purpose, and power.

This Spring, College Track will help support nearly 300 Oakland high school students as they prepare for and apply to colleges across the nation. We need passionate, engaging tutors to help our students sharpen their study skills, review core high school subjects and get comfortable asking for help.

Responsibilities: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students on a core high school subject and help foster a safe environment for students to learn. In particular demand are the following subject areas: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math and English.

Benefits: Work with a leading college completion program and make a difference in kids’ lives!

• Tutoring typically happens Monday-Thursday between the hours of 5:45-6:45pm.
• You can sign up for a single day, by request, or more based on your capacity.
• There is also an option to support the college admissions process as an essay reviewer
