Deliver groceries to neighbors in need

Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network is a fully volunteer-operated food delivery program, in partnership with Joy's Kitchen.

Every FRIDAY we deliver free grocery boxes to households in the Denver metro area! Shifts require a car, cell phone and driver's license.

Shift details:

• The evening before your delivery shift, you will receive an email with all route information.
• On Friday, pick up grocery boxes between 11:30am-12:30pm on Fridays at Joy's Kitchen (2080 W Barberry Pl, Denver, CO 80204) and deliver directly to 3-5 homes. This is a strict window, we can't accomodate an earlier or later pick up, sorry!
• Most routes are around 1 hour or less and we are usually flexible if volunteers are time-restricted and need shorter routes on a given week.

Why we do this work:

Grocery recipients identify as either disabled, immune compromised, over 65 and/or do not have reliable access to reliable transportation. The options for families who can not get to food banks to pick up food are extremely limited in our region. Many organizations that provide a similar delivery program to ours only operate once a month or are currently on long waitlists. There is a great need for weekly grocery deliveries for families in this area.
