POSITION SUMMARY

Join Soldiers’ Angels at the Soldiers' Angels-San Antonio Food Pantry and make a direct impact in the lives of veterans and their families! Each week, volunteers help ensure our heroes receive the groceries and support they deserve. Whether you enjoy organizing, lending a helping hand, or engaging with people, there’s a volunteer role that fits your skills and schedule.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We offer several ways to serve — pick one or rotate between a few!

🛒 Friday Food Distribution (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

• Veteran Shopping Assistant – Help veterans shop for groceries and ensure they have a positive, dignified experience.
• Check-In Volunteer – Greet and register veterans as they arrive.
• Carry-Out Helper – Assist veterans with loading groceries into their vehicles.

📦 Monday Pantry Prep (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

• Inventory & Stocking Crew – Sort, restock, and organize pantry shelves to prepare for Friday distribution.
• Pantry Support – Help track inventory, pack boxes, and maintain an organized, welcoming space.

Days and times may vary slightly based on delivery schedules and pantry needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Friendly, dependable, and passionate about serving veterans.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Some roles may require light lifting or standing for periods of time.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed!
