Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers supports homebound adults and adults with disabilities in Loudoun County remain independent and connected with their community.
At Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers, we provide transportation residents of Loudoun County who, due to physical or cognitive limitations, cannot travel outside of their homes independently. Volunteers provide transportation to life-sustaining medical appointments, such as dialysis and cancer treatments, routine medical and health care appointments, and non-medical appointments and outings. Transportation Volunteers provide round trip service and support to ensure our Care Receivers make it to their destinations and back home safely. In addition to providing neighbors in need with access to vital appointments, this is an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and connections with those who may feel isolated and lonely.
