Sponsorship Coordinator (Remote)

The Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for securing sponsorships from various sources to support the organization's initiatives. This role involves identifying and cultivating relationships with potential sponsors, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship benefits. The Sponsorship Coordinator will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop sponsorship packages that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

About the Deliverance Charities: Deliverance Charities is a U.S.- based nonprofit organization dedicated to influencing and encouraging people and families living in poverty by focusing on their financial well-being.

Start Date: Immediate (need a commitment of at least 3 months)

Reports to: Fundraising Manager

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential sponsorship opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to secure sponsorships
• Create customized sponsorship proposals and packages
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts
• Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship benefits
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sponsorship packages with marketing initiatives
• Track and report on sponsorship revenue and performance

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, social media, and multitasking skills.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Google Cloud Based Apps
• Degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management, Non-Profit Management, or related field (preferred).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekend if needed to ensure a consistent presence at events.
• Fast Learner and Multi-Tasker: Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and efficiently manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Technology Knowledge (a Plus): Familiarity with various technologies is advantageous, enhancing your ability to adapt to our dynamic work environment.
• Self-Driven: Proven track record of proactive decision-making and work performance.
• Experienced: A professional capable of contributing valuable insights and strategies.
• Independent: Capable of working autonomously while still being a collaborative team player.
• Detail-Oriented: A professional with a meticulous approach to tasks.
• Deadline-Oriented: Consistent adherence to deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Prioritization Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.

Work Environment: Our team is collaborative and supportive, using tools Google Gmail, Chat and Space to stay connected and work efficiently.

Schedule:

• Self-determined schedule but need updates monthly.
• At least 2 hours a week, anything more is appreciated
• Updates should be submitted via email.
